Veterinarian
Dr. Rubin brings over 11 years of experience in small animal medicine, with a strong focus on urgent care, dentistry, preventative care, dermatology, spay/neuter procedures, and soft tissue surgery. She is known for her compassionate bedside manner, clear communication, and thoughtful approach to addressing each pet’s individual needs — qualities that consistently earn high praise from clients.

In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Rubin has an impressive international background. She previously served as a Field Program Director and Veterinary Instructor in Panama through a Smithsonian-affiliated program, where she developed and led veterinary education initiatives for students while providing care in remote communities. She has also practiced veterinary medicine in Costa Rica, delivering care in resource-limited settings and supporting wildlife and rescue organizations.
When she’s not caring for patients, Dr. Rubin enjoys traveling and spending time with her 3-pound Chihuahua Violet, who proves that even the smallest pets can have the biggest personalities.
